The Minden Planning Commission reviews land-use and zoning requests, including applications for variances. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council.
The Planning Commission meets at Minden City Hall, 520 Broadway Street, on the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. Applications must be submitted to the Building Official’s office at least 30 days before the next meeting.
Planning Commission decisions become final following a 14-day appeal period. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the Mayor and City Council. Appeals submitted by someone other than the applicant or a council member require the signatures of 10 registered voters who reside within the City of Minden.
