City Court

Judge Sherb Sentell III presides over Minden City Court. The Court handles criminal, traffic, juvenile and civil procedures including small claims, damage suits, evictions, money and/or property recovery claims and suits on notes or accounts up to $35,000. A lawyer is required for plaintiffs filing claims over $5,000. The judge is elected for a six year term. The Court meets in regular session twice a week and in special session at the judge’s discretion.
